Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) – PML-Q
Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam), commonly known as PML-Q, is a political party in Pakistan that emerged in the early 2000s following a split within the Pakistan Muslim League. The party is named after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
PML-Q is generally considered a centrist political party, focusing on governance, administrative stability, and development-oriented policies. It gained national prominence during the early 2000s, forming governments at the federal and provincial levels, particularly in Punjab, and playing a key role in coalition politics.
The party has often positioned itself as a pragmatic and coalition-friendly force, participating in various governments and supporting parliamentary continuity. While its electoral influence has fluctuated over time, PML-Q continues to maintain a presence in Pakistan’s political landscape, especially through alliances and strategic partnerships.
